Such mixers are commonly used in slurry mixing applications in the mineral and metal industries. For example, iron ore, alumina, zinc, lead, barrels, silver, coal ash, uranium, phosphate, FGD, lime in mineral processing plants. The main purpose of wave-solid mixing is to prepare and maintain the slurry state and to improve the mass transfer rate between the solid and liquid phases.
