The installation foundation of the heat exchanger shall be satisfied so that the heat exchanger does not sink or the pipe transfers excessive deformation to the connecting pipe of the heat exchanger.
The foundation is generally divided into two types: one is a brick saddle foundation, the heat exchanger is directly placed on the saddle foundation without a saddle support, the heat exchanger and the foundation are not fixed, and can move freely with the need of thermal expansion. The other is the concrete foundation, the heat exchanger is firmly connected with the foundation by the anchor bolt through the saddle support. Before installing the heat exchanger, the inspection and acceptance of the foundation quality shall be strictly carried out. The main items are as follows: general situation of the foundation surface; Whether the foundation elevation, plane position, shape, main size and reserved hole meet the actual requirements; Whether the position of anchor bolt is correct, whether the thread condition is good, whether the nut and washer are complete; Whether the foundation surface on which shim iron is placed is flat, etc. According to the form of the heat exchanger, there should be enough space at both ends of the heat exchanger to meet the needs of cleaning and maintenance. The fixed head cover end of the floating head heat exchanger should leave enough space for the spiral plate heat exchanger to be able to pull out the tube bundle from the shell, and the outer head cover end should also leave a position of more than one meter for the assembly and disassembly of the outer head cover and floating head cover.
